LaCie Drive
The LaCie hard drive is a mobile external storage device that fits several GBs.
A useful specification for ACA's to know is the plugging order when connecting and disconnecting the device:
Connecting: 1) plug drive power cable into wall, 2) plug other end of power cable into drive, 3) plug USB into drive, 4) plug USB into computer.
Disconnecting: 1) before pulling any cables, disconnect external drive on the computer (for Macs drag the drive icon to the trash, for PC right-click on the icon on the taskbar that indicates there is external hardware attached); if this is not done, information is likely to be lost, 2) disconnect USB from computer, 3) disconnect USB from LaCie, 4) disconnect power cable from LaCie, 5) disconnect power cable from wall.
